Abby has a favourite pair of sandals that she wears all summer. When fall comes she doesn’t want to stop wearing them, but is surprised when one fine day they leave, joining a flock of sandals flying south for the winter! She misses them, though they do send postcards. By the end of the winter, however, she has come to love her snow boots. When spring comes… her boots hop a freight train heading north and her sandals return!

A very funny book about the changing fashions necessitated by the changing seasons. The illustrations are full of life and movement as Abby jumps, runs, plays and explores her way through the seasons. A very fun book, and a celebration of active outdoor play… and shoes.

That looks really cute and a nice change from the Pinkalicious-type girly books that are popular right now. Thanks for the recommendation!
